Moreton-in-Marsh and Stowe Gardens

21st July We arrived at Moreton-in-Marsh Caravan and Motorhome club site, ready for our meetup with friends and videoed our look around the campsite. Video:  Arriving At Moreton-In-Marsh Motorhome Club Site 22nd July We took a walk into the nearby town and bought some beautiful cheese. We met up for a rather disjointed meal in the local pub, where two of us were stung by a wasp.  23rd July  The following day we took the Bailey to Stowe Gardens a NT property designed by Capability Brown and a meet up with friends. It was a very hot day, possibly the hottest of the whole summer. Video: Meeting Up With Friends

Lawrence Of Arabia And Tanks

Image
18th July As the mobile signal was hopeless, the morning saw us driving to a car park in Swanage to upload yesterday's video. Afterwards, we looked for a NT site nearby and found the one time home of the very famous, TE Lawrence "Lawrence of Arabia", a charming cottage and now museum, called Clouds Hill. Video:  Clouds Hill, Home of Lawrence Of Arabia To round the day off, I took a look around the absolutely massive and amazing Tank Museum at Bovington. Video: The Tank Museum

Dorset, Corfe Castle

Image
16th July We arrived in the Bailey Alliance 59-2 at Hunters Moon Caravan And Motorhome Club Site, near Wareham in Dorset, and had a little look around the site. Video:  Hunters Moon Caravan And Motorhome Club Site 17th July  We drove to Corfe for a great day out at Corfe Castle and a trip on The Swanage railway. We parked in the wrong car park, spent an hour walking through a jungle of ferns to the castle, only to discover we could have caught the train to the castle. The tremendous cheese lunch at the NT Corfe Castle Cafe was highly recommended and thoroughly deserved. Next time, park in the NT car park. Video:  Corfe Castle And Swanage Railway
